A wonderful hand-dye fabric is wrapped around this large 11" x 17" handmade art journal. Gorgeous jewel tones of yellow, orange, brown, blue and green run together to make this a fabulous book to draw or sketch in.

There are 28 smooth white (or 56 front & back) case bound pages inside the extra sturdy covers. I often buy paper in bulk which is where this particular paper comes from, I do not have the exact weight or type but I would guess it is around a heavier 70# drawing paper, as an artist myself, I would be very comfortable using it for most dry media such as pencil, pen and ink, markers, pastels, colored pencil or charcoal. I've also added a distressed leather closure dyed an indigo blue with a heavy-duty gold snap to hold this book nicely shut.
